A group of UP female artists painted the walls of Moradabad with images depicting the plight of women ahead of the International Women’s Day. Paintings showcased messages of encouragement for the womenfolk. These group members painted their faces with colourful hues. The event was held at Shaheed Smarak Bagh. Every year, March 8 is observed as the global day to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. It also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity.
